Question by The £mperor: How will it all be paid for?? What kind of Change?? Jimmy carter change or Ronald Regan change??
well the Democrats have promised everything. from Healthcare for all 47 million Americans who dont have one, more welfare, more prescription medication and foodstamps/vouchers for those who do not work because they refused to go to school, signing Kyoto Protocol, Law of the seas treaty from the UN and using the cap and trade system to end global warming.
All sound like good ideas. But how will it all be paid for??
Raising Corporate Income tax
America collets 35% of coporate incomes. China is 25% and india is 30%. Hong kong which is part of China is just 16.5% http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tax_rates_around_the_world So what do you think will happen if the American Corporate Income tax is raised??
Do the Rich really not pay enough taxes??

Global warming. http://www.ecoearth.info/shared/reader/welcome.aspx?linkid=88838 Japan, Spain, Italy Face $ 33 Billion Kyoto Payments . Imagine what the US will pay.
America is in $ 56 TRILLION debt to its self and other countries that compounds at a rate of $ 2.5 Trillion a year.
The cost per U.S. household of unfunded promises made by federal, state and local government: $ 516,348. That means that every household in the US owes $ 516,348, then add you personal debt like credit cards and house/car payment. Obama is going to follow through on the issues that most Americans want progress on.
Health care – no real debate there – everyone should have it.
Peace – no real debate there – it’s time to end the war
Education – no real debate there – we need to do better
The reason Obama is a uniter is because he is going to finally act on all those issues that Americans generally agree on but the politicians have ignored.

Liberals will raise taxes, pure and simple. The Clinton speeches are a venerable holiday grab-bag of items in the class/wealth warfare Democrats shout every chance they get.

The top 5% income earners pay 85% of the total tax bill. As a small business owner, I can tell you that everything you list that the dems want to give away makes me cringe. My business does not make a profit after I pay my taxes. I’d like to be able to afford to hire some more employess, but can’t because the gov’t takes my money and gives it to the lazy bastards who don’t want to work! It is not a dem issue, it is a generational issue of dope smoking baby-boomers wanting to make decisions based on emotion rather than intellect.

I don’t understand what you mean by Jimmy Carter change or Ronald Regan change, but I do understand that the current candidate Ron Paul has a plan to change/fix all the issues you mention and find money for needed programs by making his changes without raising taxes. You can find a copy of his plan at http://www.ronpaul2008.com. I hope this answers your question. Researching “federal reserve fraud” will also help to understand where a lot of these issues stem from.

I think it’d be more like a Bill Clinton change.. Erase the record debt and turn the economy around…
As far as the rich? I’d think their tax cuts have already been given to them in the form of interest rates.. Raise their taxes to where it was and cut taxes for the working class.. When the lower class in this country have more money, they spend it.. And it works it’s way right back into the hands of the rich anyways.. I don’t feel sorry for a raise in taxes for billionares.. Sorry…

End free trade, try to get those companies we let go to Mexico, to come back. Then stop the tax cuts the Republicans gave to people who sell stock, that was $ 175 million, either walk away from Iraq, or get them to start paying for their own freedom, that’s like $ 30 billion a month, give or take, and stop letting people screw the tax code.
I’m a Dem, in case you hadn’t noticed, but Ted Kennedy himself said that the death tax hurts only the middle and lower classes, since the wealthy are smart enough to get around it, and that no one in the Kennedy family has payed taxes since before Joseph Sr. died.
We need reform, within both parties! And we need to start voting for the man, not the party, not the sex, not the race!
